Tulum Airport

Tulum International Airport, also known as Felipe Carrillo Puerto Airport, is an international airport located in the municipality of Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The airport commenced operations on December 1, 2023, and has the capacity to serve 5.5 million passengers annually.

History of Tulum Airport

The project for Tulum International Airport was announced in October 2020 by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. The construction of the airport began in March 2021 and was carried out by the Olmeca-Maya-Mexica company.

Tulum International Airport is situated 19 kilometers southwest of the city of Tulum. The airport is located on a 1,200-hectare site at an elevation of 10 meters above sea level.
